The TransTec is an energy-efficient, tiebarless two-axis machine with vertical mold split lines. During the production process molding and handling run simultaneously. The specially developed media transfer system makes it possible that only one shuttle-side gets in contact with steam, air, water and wastewater during production, the other shuttle-side remains unpressurized.

CCM Molding System

We develop, design, and build machines for composites with the Continuous Compression Molding (CCM) system since 15 years.

Continuous Compression Molding (CCM) is an intermittent but continuous production process to consolidate fiber, tapes, UD-tapes, etc. (glass fiber, carbon fiber, aramid fiber, etc.) with a thermoplastic matrix (PP, PPS, PEKK, PEEK, PA, etc.). With this process, organic sheets with high mechanical resistance at an extreme low weight (composites) can be produced.

Depending on customer wishes, different material combinations and layer structures can be used. The CCM process makes an almost endless production possible: the feeding unit which cyclical opens and closes pulls the material through the press unit.

Precisely regulated laminate pressures up to 25 bar as well as temperatures of maximum 420°C allow the production of semi-finished products (organic sheets) as plates or profiles.

The CCM process offeres different manufacturing processes based on the material combinations. Film-Stacking, Prepreg, and UD-tapes methods are used to produce high quality polymers. If the customer likes to manufacture cost-effective fibre reinforced composites, the direct injection of the matrix is suitable.

Semi-finished products (organic sheets) produced with the CCM process have a degree of porosity less than 1% with a dimensional tolerance of less than 10 %. The thermoplasts can be processed with the hot-forming or mechanical process.

We distinguish within the CCM technology between a Single-Stage Press, used for the production of plates and simplified profiles, and the Double-Stage Press, which is used to producing profiles.

Our Teubert Pre-Expander (TDV) for EPS and Copolymere has been developed especially for Lost Foam and laboratory use. It can be opened completely in seconds.

Our Teubert Pre-Expander is characterized by the following technical details:
